BAM's UK Learning team have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Administrator to join the team on a permanent contract.

You will join a busy People Services function to support the administration and coordination of learning activities.


Your work environment

  • This role will be remote working with a requirement to travel to our office in Solihull (Birmingham) as and when required.
  • BAM operates a flexible working policy.

Your mission

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Administer and coordinate learning activities and events.
  • Accurately maintain all administrative systems to support the scheduling, booking and delivery of learning activities and ensure all learning data and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Produce and update reports and matrices on learning activity.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including dealing with learning queries and guiding employees and managers on our learning processes and procedures.
  • Deal with all pre and post learning administration including: managing bookings to ensure applicants meet the criteria; managing over or under subscriptions; sending timely joining instructions; managing course waiting lists; communicating pre course requirements with participants, liaising with trainers, facilities and external suppliers; dealing with cancellations and nonattendance; course certification; evaluation forms and processing invoices.
  • Participate in adhoc projects, and any other duties to assist the effectiveness of the learning team.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to accurately input and manage data.
  • Previous experience in busy and varied administration role.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines without close supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous administration experience in Learning & Development and using a Learning Management System (LMS) would be an advantage.
