Following the promotion of one of our Service Desk Engineers within our busy IT department we looking to recruit for someone who is looking for a career in IT join us, to deliver amazing service and move their career to the next level.

Our IT departmentin Preston supports over 3,000 colleagues across UK.

You will join a team who are essential in delivering a high-quality front-of-house IT service that continuously improves our colleagues' experience.

You will proactively develop and maintain good, positive working relationships and where possible, deliver firsttime fix on requests and update of incident log with necessary information required for closure.

Where you cannot assist immediately you will pass to colleagues with specialist knowledge.

Please note:
This is a onsite role, where you will be required to travel to our South Rings, Preston office to carry out your role.
The role also requires some flexibility as you may be asked to be on call.

More about you

Ideally, we are looking for you to have experience of working on an IT Service desk, above all you will need superb customer service skills and have experience of helping customers over the phone or via Teams.

We are looking for people who have an active interest in a career in IT.

We will support you to understand more about the world of IT, and many people who have started on our service desk have gone on to have rewarding roles in various specialisms from networkconfig, web design, cyber security to name a few.
