Role of the Senior Residential Support Worker (Overview of the Position)

To provide care for children aged between years. Main ages of children are years
Salary: £10.67 per hour. Overtime paid at £13.34 per hour. Bank Holidays paid at
Hours: 3 shifts a week 8am 11pm agreed minimum. Sleep ins until 8am.
Locations: 4 care homes based in Oldbury, Moseley, Yardley Wood & Kings Heath

Responsibilities of the Senior Residential Support Worker (Tasks Associated with the Role)

Promote independence of the young person, focusing on life after school and integration for college / sixth form
Upkeep with paperwork / records
Be engaging with the young people
Prepare hearty meals
Be an active role model in the life of the young person actively promote education
Attend school meetings and other events
PEP reviews

Results (Expected Accomplishments)

Supporting young people to have solid foundations as they progress into adult life

Requirements of the Senior Residential Support Worker (Expected Proficiencies)

Qualifications

Full and relevant: Level 3 in Childcare OR Health & Social Care w/ children's pathway
Also willing to accept unqualified staff with relevant experience
