This is a rare opportunity for a senior professional leadership permanent post (WTE 0.4) as the Head of Profession for Occupational Therapy in Devon Partnership Trust.


Devon Partnership Trust employs in excess of 200 registered Occupational Therapists and many individuals working with occupational therapy support roles.

Occupational Therapists work across all clinical directorates and play a valuable role in the delivery of care and treatment in a diverse range of services.


The long term plan for mental health has identified major developments in mental health services and a clear ethos of holistic and joined up care.

As the only healthcare profession trained at undergraduate level to deliver the Governments triple integration agenda, it is an exciting time for occupational therapists to bring the core of their training to the fore for the benefit of service development and improving outcomes of people with mental illness or learning disability in Devon.


We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist with leadership experience who feels passionate about the role of occupational therapy in mental health and learning disability services, and can inspire those within the profession and those we work alongside.
