Description
Ensure all raw material products are labelled to specification.

  • Monitor general product quality and advise department supervisors/managers of any issues
  • Raise internal non conformances where deviations from specification or process are identified.
  • Responsible for holding and releasing raw materials, work in progress products
  • Responsible for liaising with the procurement team all nonconformities identified regarding the safety, legality, and quality of raw materials as well Compile various reports as reviewing and approving corrective and preventative actions provided by the supplier.
  • Ensure specifications and codes of Practice are followed and fully implemented and embraced in everything we do.
  • Promoting GMP to a Gold Standard within the work area
  • To age and promote a positive Food Safety Culture within your function.
  • Monitor environmental standards in production areas and report issues to management/supervision
  • Must be confident and a clear communicator in English
  • PC Literate
  • A team player with the ability to be self sufficient
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail
  • To be able to work under pressure
  • Food Safety training Level
  • Food industry experience
  • Retailer Awareness
