As a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator your duties will include, to be responsible for maintaining production and quality standards in producing PVC hoses and profiles to meet company objectives whilst adhering to all relevant Health & Safety procedures.

Machine set up
:

• Machine operation.
• Ensuring feed hoppers are maintained at a constant and consistent level at all times.
• Setting up extrusion programmes.
• Setting up of extrusion lines.
• Feeding finished product into coils.
• Packaging product ready for shipping.
• Basic computer operation.

An ideal Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Have experience of similar roles or have worked in an engineering process plants, although this is not essential as full training will be given.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Able to work as part of a small continuous production line team.
• Manual dexterity and manual handling is required for the job role to lift finished products for shipment.
• Good attendance record.
• Strong attention to detail.

The following working shifts are available:

• 7.00am to 3.30 Monday to Thursday
• 7.00am to 12.30 Friday
• 1.30pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday* 12.30pm to 6.00pm Fridays

Shifts rotate every 2 weeks.


Job Types:

Salary:

£10.50-£11.20 per hour
