Digitalent are really proud to be working with an innovative and expanding consultancy specialising in Information Management and Governance.They work with best of breed software products and offer ongoing services to public, private and third sector organisations,helping to create, capture, store, manage, share and preserve information and data in a secure and compliant way.
They are looking for a Junior or Graduate Technical Implementation Analyst with a Computer Science degree. A dynamic individual who possesses great people and problem-solving skills and is eager to learn quickly.
This role will be responsible for delivering designated project tasks in the successful implementation of software projects to high levels of quality, in time and on budget.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver implementation project tasks in line with internal methodologies, vendor guidelines and incorporating functional and technical design requirements
- Understand client drivers and requirements to deliver effective solutions
- Attend team daily 'standups' to report on task progress, identify issues/risks and initiate remedial actions where necessary
- Work with the Implementation Manager to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented
- Continuously improve delivery methodologies, working collaboratively with colleagues to identify ways to innovate and enhance delivery and processes
- Maintain a strong customer focus, building relationships with clients and partners
Qualifications:
- Computer Science Degree
Personal skills:
- Proactive and selfstarter works well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Excellent time management and decisionmaking skills
- Professional skills:
- Graduate or Junior level role
- Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Ability to interpret functional matters into technical concepts and outcomes and vice versa
- Strong presentation skills
Nice to have:
- Any experience in any of the following software and technologies is advantageous:
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Micro Focus Content Manager / TRIM
- Micro Focus ControlPoint / IDOL
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 36 specifically SharePoint
- Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft Windows Servers
- PowerShell Scripting
Salary and Package:
- £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
- Annual bonus linked to personal performance as a share of annual company profit
- Workplace pension
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
