Monday to Thursday 6am to 2.30pm and Friday 6am to 1pm

Polytec are looking for a Manufacturing Operator for our Ely based client to run various workshop machines in this physical role.


Responsibilities:


  • Operating a wide range of machinery as part of a production team to produce high tolerance components
  • Maintain high levels of attention to detail at all times, recording and communicating accurate technical measurements and readings
  • Update production control system and complete paperwork on product status
  • Support problem solving and quality/performance improvement

Requirements:


  • Practical 'hands on' approach with experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tooling, Jigs, Fixtures and SOP's
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and practical skill
