We are currently looking for 2 x Night Shift Workers to join our team.

Shift pattern will be 12 hours, from 19:00 till 07:00 or 20:00 till 08:00 based on a 4 days on 4 days off rota.

The Arthur Findlay College offers facilities unequalled anywhere in the world in the Spiritualist movement.

A residential centre where students can study Spiritualist philosophy and religious practice, Spiritualist healing and awareness, spiritual and psychic unfolding, and kindred disciplines.

Courses, lectures, and demonstrations are all offered by leading exponents, together with the additional features of a library, museum, lake, magnificent grounds, recreational facilities and full board accommodation.

Our property includes one main building with student bedrooms, kitchen, workrooms, shop, museum, bar, and reception. There are two more buildings in the garden offering further student accommodation including 2 flats.

Assist the Night Manager and Maintenance department, main duties will include but not limited to:

Deal with Students and Tutors in a polite and professional manner
Student checkin and checkout
Supporting the housekeeping department, ensuring all areas of the main building are kept clean and tidy
Ensure toilets, work rooms and corridors are prepared for the next day, vacuum if necessary, set up rooms as per tutors request and empty the bins
Monitor CCTV and Bar activities
Ensure that the bar staff are safe and floats are stored safely
Promptly deal with any incident and contact relevant authorities if needed
Deal with deliveries
Ensure that the building is secure and safe for staff and students
Ensure that doors are locked, checked and monitored throughout the night
Regular security walks in and around the property ensuring that there are no safety issues
Cover Duty Manager in the event of Night Manager holiday and sickness
