Business Analyst - Insurance


Insurance software solutions provider who are at the forefront of many pivotal technology innovations, are looking to increase their team who support the design and development of core product features.


Working for a successful Agile organisation within the Insurance niche, you will work with domain experts to identify business requirements, understand existing systems functionality and document system requirements for change.


As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be a clarifier of ambiguity between the customer and the delivery team, writing user stories and acceptance criteria and act as the domain expert who understands the business requirements.


What you will be doing:

  • Interpret Business and Technical requirements, both functional and nonfunctional, for the delivery team
  • Understand the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders to obtain a clear understanding of proposed changes
  • Evaluate business processes and systems, documenting process and data models
  • Workshop facilitation and presentations

Essential skills & Experience:
-
Strong domain knowledge of Insurance, particularly UK personal lines and claims administration:

  • Proven experience in Business Analysis / Systems Analysis within the insurance industry
  • Agile methodology experience favourably regarded
