Warehouse Supervisor Nights

Location:
Portsmout, Unit 1, Solent 27, Walton Road, Portsmouth, PO6 1SX

Shift Pattern:
Monday -Friday, 1:30am-10am
**Salary: £30k -£32k per annum

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Portsmouth depot. You'll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR DUTIES

Monitoring of drivers performance,
Debriefing and processing collections compliantly,
Planning driver rotas and assigning work,
Maintaining service levels whilst balancing cost efficiencies,
People management including reviews,
Identifying service/compliance failures and implementing solutions,
Promoting health & safety practices,
Ensuring effective communication and teamwork between shifts/departments

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics position
A proven track record of effective people management
Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI's.
A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
Great communication skills
