Senior Transport Planner

Doncaster

£28,000 - £31,000 DOE.
Taylor Stevenson is working in partnership with our well-established client for a Senior Transport Planner.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Planning of allocated pool of trucks and drivers.
  • Maintaining sufficient trailer availability to deliver the plan.
  • Maximise vehicle utilisation.
  • Plan effective haulage plans in line with the customer's expectations.
  • Close working relationship with allocated drivers
  • To have the ability to react and positively adapt to the demands of the customers requirements.
  • Proactively communicate with respect to planning changes and service delivery with both customers.
  • Liaison with operations team.
  • A team player with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Previous transport planner experience 4 years + (essential)
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Flexible in working in a team and being selfmotivated.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
