  • Our engineering team in North Engineering Centre is responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and engineering in the north maltings. The team delivers improved asset reliability and world class resource utilisation through planning and execution of tasks and positively contributes to a World Class outlook and actively support the development and successful implementation of strategies to achieve this aim.
About the role

This strategic role will lead malt distilling sites with regards to Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security.

You will develop and deploy effective local guidance on OT Cyber Security training plans and knowledge base, collaborating closely with 3rd Party Integrators as key partners, establishing policies and procedures alongside assured ways of working.


You will be providing incident and/or emergency coordination with critical issues as a point of contact and be SME to operational teams as well as planning the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP-PM) to ensure all processes and essential preventative maintenance and compliance work are completed.


You will be responsible for supporting employee and team development in accordance with responsibilities toward Cyber Security assurance and analysing data to ensure successful implementation of the Cyber Security protocols, monitoring, auditing and reporting alongside Governance to establish compliance assurance.


Other key accountabilities are to optimize maintenance schedules including CapEx projects and Silent Season which involve connecting into the OT system and to implement best practice processes and procedures maximising effectiveness and efficiency.

About You


You will have experience operating in a high availability/output industrial environment and this will be complimented by a depth of knowledge & experience of Cyber Security, OT systems & assets including hardware & networks.

You will have knowledge/experience of Standard ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity for Indusry.


To be successful at this role, you will have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate at all levels.

We are looking for someone who can influence and challenge others, govern projects, coordinate cyber resilience programme.

Although industrial experience is not required for this role, understanding of manufacturing and distilling would be good to have.


This role is not open to remote working and needs to be based in Elgin due to the travel requirement between sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is also necessary for this role.
