Our Client is based in Ashford and they are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team.

They are looking for an experienced operator or a college leaver looking to start a career for a prestigious Company.

Main Duties

EDM or electrical discharge machine operating
Setting up and programming of EDM equipment
Ensure proper functioning, when making precision parts for toolmakers and designers.
As an EDM operator, you work with sinker EDM machining solutions.
Working to tight tolerances and deadlines
Ensure you carry out company Health & Safety procedures at all times
Keep shop floor and workspace clean and tidy
Carry out other duties as and when required
Quality checking finished work

Qualifications and Experience

Qualified CNC Operator with previous experience of either spark or wire erosion, ideally on Sodick machinery or a newly qualified college graduate
Strong allround skills and be able to multitask
Have a practical understanding of the tooling/jigging required
