Location - East London
Salary To £40k + Bens

We have a great opportunity with a small and expanding niche womenswear brand based in East London who are looking to replace a Garment Technologist to their team.

With expansion plans in hand this will be one of many new hires in the company this year on the back end of new brand launches

Garment Technologist duties:

Working closely with design and production teams

Working with both full time and freelance designers to ensure all products are sealed on time according to the critical path.

Working across multi product womenswear

Taking fit meetings and liaising with suppliers and factories making sure they understand what the business is trying to achieve.

Helping with a range of tasks including tracking all stages of sealing, establishing and approving graded spec charts, finalising of documents in line with the critical path.

To be shortlisted for this Garment Technologist role you must have:

At least 3 years recent experience as Womenswear Garment Technologist with a womenswear high street supplier or womenswear high street brand.

A solid knowledge of garment construction, grading and taking fit meetings.

A proven track record of setting and achieving quality standards, across a variety of product categories as well as critical path management.

Organised and efficient - ability to multi-task and prioritise and work to deadlines
Good communication skills, team player ,
