BTG Accountancy & Finance are working with a well-established business in derby that is seeking an ambitious manufacturing accountant to join their management accounts team.

The business has almost doubled in size in the past few years and have recently only just opened a brand new manufacturing site.

Your new role as management accountant will see you looking after the management accounts for an established manufacturing business and will include reporting and business partnering opportunities.

This role is perfect for a PQ or fully qualified accountant eager to find a role to take ownership of the management accounts.

This role will give you a broad range of duties, you'll be responsible for:

Produce and review monthly factory management accounts with the Operations leadership team to aid decision-making and monitor spend against budget
Produce weekly management information for the Board and investors
Develop and agree forecasts and budgets for Operations with budget holders for completion of the annual budget
Full management reporting responsibility for a Group subsidiary company including actuals, budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
Responsibility for control of Group capital expenditure authorization process and maintenance of fixed asset register
Liaising with Design, Marketing and Operations to produce draft standard costs for commercial stop/go analyses
KPI preparation and interpretation for Executive Board, Board and Leadership team
Preparation of cash flow projections for certain Business Units
Monthly stock valuations and reconciliations
Developing the role and the department's output through suggesting new analyses, ways of working and streamlining existing routines and processes within the wider team
Finance input to crossfunctional ad hoc project teams
Support the wider finance team as required
