    Internal Sales Co-ordinator

    We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Co-ordinator to join our team in Portsmouth, a leading company in the aerospace and defence sectors. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire order progression process, ensuring smooth communication and high customer satisfaction.

    Salary:

    $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

    Key Responsibilities:

    • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS: Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of their requirements, expectations, and overall satisfaction.
    • PARTNER WITH CUSTOMERS: Act as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, including regular calls, site visits, and action tracking to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
    • MANAGE ORDER PROGRESSION: Maintain and manage the company's order book, accurately updating and reporting on multiple customer orders and accounts to ensure alignment between customers.
    • PROCESS CUSTOMER PURCHASE ORDERS: Process customer purchase orders and accurately upload them into the ERP system.
    • LEAD CONTRACT REVIEW PROCESS: Lead the contract review process for new and renewed contracts, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and internal procedures, and meeting key performance indicators for turnaround times.

    Requirements:

    • CUSTOMER-FACING EXPERIENCE: Experience in a customer-facing role within the aerospace and defence industry.
    • ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND: Familiarity with electronics manufacturing is highly advantageous.
    • SOFTWARE SKILLS: Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on the audience.
