Skymark Packaging International Limited, manufacturers of flexible packaging solutions, are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Controller to work at our Heanor accounts office.
Please note
- Our accounts deaprtment is a small team of 4 and work from a small, quiet (but friendly)
satellite office approximately 75 Miles from the companies head office in Scunthorpe.
Job Purpose
To maintain and control sales ledger accounts and filing systems. Deliver prompt and accurate invoicing to clients for goods and services. To identify disputes and to assist in resolving claims. To prepare reports as identified or required.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list, but includes):
- Check all delivery notes for processing
- Checking proof of delivery received to invoice
- Creating daily Sales invoicing and credit notes
- Preparation of schedules and batches
- Upload transfers to Opera
- Opera manual postings (Where applicable)
- Statement preparation, after the first of each month
- Sales Financing schedule reconciliations
- Maintain the sales ledger filing systems through to archive and disposal
- Completion of end of month Sales reports including Sales Sector Report.
- Prepare all export documentation
- Learning and when applicable covering all other functions of the accounts department.
- General administrative duties and answering telephone enquiries.
- Computer literature with good knowledge of Excel
- Works well under pressure with good attention to detail
Hours, Salary and Holiday entitlement
- Full time permanent position; Monday to Friday 08.30am till 5.00pm with an hours lunch
- Starting salary of £22,000.00£24,000.00 per annum dependent on experience; paid Monthly
- Initially 20 Days holiday per annum (Plus bank holidays) which increases by one day per year on the third year of employment to a maximum of 30 days per annum.

£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
