Why Explore Learning?:


We are recruiting a new Product Designer who will be responsible for building digital products and platforms at Explore Learning, one of the UK's leading tuition providers.


We've always had our members at the heart of everything we do at Explore and this role will be central to evolving the experience we provide as we continue to advance the digital aspect of our business.

The role will report to the Head of UX and Design and is a great opportunity for someone with the junior to middle experience in UX design industry and who will enjoy being a part of a team within a business with a real purpose focused on helping children.


The Role:

  • Solution design: focus on bringing elegant solutions to complex problems, while working on research, prototyping and testing of new hypotheses. You will immerse yourself in Explore's products and tuition centres to empathise with our customers.
  • Production design: present and communicate design decisions to peers and stakeholders, while handling a fastpaced, everchanging and deadlinedriven environment and be ready to build multiple options before the best value solution is found.
  • Continuous improvement: seek ongoing feedback from customers and stakeholders and invest time to really understand our customers' needs in order to design engaging digital tools, and manage/contribute to Design System development.

Who we're looking for:


  • A product designer with 3+ years of experience with a passion for building Ed-Tech products.
  • A proactive, curious and agile person with positive attitude and strong teamworking skills.
  • A creative worker, comfortable with converting complex problems into elegant, practical solutions.
  • A proven track of commercial projects and understanding of fullcircle design processes from idea to release.
  • An online portfolio of completed web / mobile projects showcasing Research, Concept, Prototypes and UI, testing process.
  • Confidence with Figma and an expert in creating the exceptional UI.
  • Experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and building accessible products.
  • Strong knowledge Miro and Invision in order to ideate, prototype, design and handover UX/UI.

Location:
Hybrid - remote with travel to London/Guildford


Salary:
£25,000 - £40,000 (dependant on skills and experience)

Head of UX and Design
