Are you a passionate and dedicated PE professional looking for a new opportunity? Look no further

Tradewind are seeking a Head of Department for Physical Education to join our successful and popular girls' secondary sixth form school in South Birmingham.

This is a maternity cover position, starting after February half term and running until July 2023.

As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for:

Teaching KS3 and KS4 PE
Managing a small team of PE teachers
Developing and implementing a curriculum that is engaging and challenging for students
Supporting the professional development of the department's staff
Managing departmental resources, including equipment and facilities
Ensuring the department meets all statutory requirements and standards
Monitoring and evaluating the department's performance
Representing the department in meetings and at parentteacher conferences
