Vamonos Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Inbound Tour Operator and Destination Management company based in Edinburgh, who are looking for a Group Operations Supervisor or Group Operations Manager.

As Group Operations Supervisor / Manager (title will depend on experience) you will be leading an operations team by example.

Running your own group tours, whilst supporting the team and working with management to ensure the travel operations department is running at optimal level.

This is a sales focused role ensuring team targets are met, key partners are looked after and relationships are maintained.

You will be expected to handle a high volume of quoting & operations yourself with a natural focus on any high-profile or large projects.

Whilst managing your operational team.

You will set the correct tone, leading by example, ensuring you are always up to date with operational skills at a systems & procedural level to enable you to assess the team's quality and productivity.

The company use the system:
Tourplan and
you must have have previous experience in using Tourplan to be considered for this role.

Experience required:

You must have at least 2 years experience working within a DMC, UK Tour Operator or Coach tourism business.

The right person for the role will be an experienced operations executive or supervisor who is looking for the next step, who has managed group travel throughout the UK and understands the UK travel and tourism industry.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
