Key Duties:

TEACHING To contribute to teaching across the Undergraduate Curriculum for years 3, 4, and 5 medical students from University of Birmingham; to contribute to the teaching of medical students from University of Warwick/Three Counties Medical School; contribute to the teaching and support of other medical students (such as elective students) at the discretion of Head/Deputy Head of Academy.

It is expected that the Fellow will commit a minimum of 7 sessions per week to undergraduate teaching. To assist with organisation, monitoring and teaching of the undergraduate teaching programme.

To assist in reviewing the current structure and organisation of undergraduate teaching within the medical specialties in order to instigate appropriate modifications.

To contribute to specific teaching in the relevant specialties including simulation, master classes and induction programmes. Act as an examiner for Birmingham and Warwick Medical Students as required. Accountability, with respect to the performance of teaching duties to the Head of Academy. The post provides the opportunity to study part-time for a clinical educational qualification.
