About us:

Student Records and the Student Lifecycle team are busy teams at the heart of UCL's student administration.

They are responsible for administrative processes from setting up of programme information, enrolment of students, module registration and the awarding of qualifications according to the regulations.


The teams operate in a business partner model, meaning that a key part of their roles involves working closely with faculties and departments to understand the academic work undertaken in these departments and how this affects the student records throughout their time at UCL.


The teams are success-oriented and enthusiastic in their approach to dealing with high volumes of queries whilst delivering an excellent service.

We are looking for a proactive, quick learner to join the team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.


About the role:


The Student Records Officer will be working in the Student Records team responsible for the set up and maintenance of core records in Portico (SITS) that support the student lifecycle.


About you:


They will be experienced in prioritising their workload to manage competing demands and will be able to demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying and solving problems with mínimal supervision.


Excellent IT, written and spoken communication skills, together with a meticulous and organised approach to working with a high standard of accuracy, are key requirements of the role.
