Health and Life Actuary

Location:
London (hybrid-working)

Salary:
Up to £120,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus

There are different levels on offer so whether you're
nearly qualified, newly qualified or have significant
post-qualifiedexperience, this could be the right move for you...


Some of responsibilities include (depending on the level):

  • Leading or supporting various projects

  • health insurance,
    life insurance, data related to medical costs etc.
-
Valuations, financial reporting, liability management, risk management (e.g. group risk).

  • Portfolio analysis
  • Exposure to both
    insurance and reinsurance including captive insurance.
  • Responsible for various products (e.g.
    income protection benefits)
  • Model development/improvements pricing models, tools etc. mainly using Excel, VBA, SAS.
  • Some involvement with
    capital modelling, mainly in relation to health insurance but also life.
  • Managing
    multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
