Y3 Recruit are looking for an experienced Bid Writer for our client in the Preston area.

They are a family ran construction company with almost 100 years of history as a well-known and reputable regional contractor.

Due to stable and continuous growth, they have an opportunity for a Bid Writer to demonstrate their skill set and flair in the creation of attractive and work winning bids.

£40,000 - £45,000


Responsibilities:

• The Bid Writer will highquality and customerfocused responses: Responses that are clear, compliant, persuasive and wellstructured.
• Edit and proofread responses: To ensure they answer the question and score maximum points, and to improve the structure, readability, grammar, spelling, punctuation and impact.
• Develop win themes: Work with colleagues from the wider bid team to identify client drivers and our key selling points.
• Plan and coordinate the delivery of submissions: Develop bid plans, schedule reviews and update bid plan trackers to ensure we meet strict deadlines.
• Prepare and assist with post tender presentations: Support the development of clientfacing presentations after tenders have been submitted.
• Write case studies, capability statements and evidence pieces: Collect information from projects and write specific evidence pieces, case studies and capability statements.

All Applicants Must Have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Bid Writer
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to write elegantly and with flair.
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• High level of interpersonal skills and ability to engage, motivate and influence others.
• Ability to quickly interpret and understand information and confidence to challenge solutions to ensure that they exceed client needs.
• Ability to multitask, organise and work in a highpressure, deadlinedriven environment.

Desirable:

• Some experience working as a Bid Writer within a Construction related field
