An outstanding opportunity to help create and deliver the product vision for TUI's Group-wide Customer Data Services.


The data analyst will work on mapping out data flows coming into and out of our Customer Data Master (CDM) system.

Identifying all systems and processes that consume or send data to CDM.

They will work with business stakeholders to understand any issues andinvestigate and propose solutions that can be worked through with the development teams.

The data analyst will create and understand business requirements including new data feed integration and changes to the system and manage these changes with the relevantinternal or external development teams by doing thorough testing of the data.


The role will be part of the Customer Data Services team, which is spread around the UK, Germany, Belgium and Portugal so there is flexibility on the location as we are highly virtual teams.


ABOUT THE JOB

As a Data/Business Analyst in TUI's Customer Data Services team, you'll help support and deliver the roadmap for Customer Data Services and decommissioning of legacy systems


You will:

Create and maintain Data / Process flows
Create data/process flow for our systems so that we have a clear documentation of our data landscape.


Create Requirements:


Work with the business/project teams to create clear and detailed requirements that can be passed over to the tech teams to implement and support these in getting developed.


Support Changes:

Support implementation of all changes into our systems by being the expert in the data area.


Testing:

Responsible for testing changes from projects or bau activities.

Support UAT and End to end testing of data coming in and out of the platforms to ensure good data quality and accuracy for users.


Issue Management:


Ensure all issues are investigated and prioritised accordingly, making it clear for others around the business to understand what is being worked on and when it will be completed.


Engage Stakeholders effectively:

Liaise with a variety of key stakeholders in development and business areas, building strong working relations.

Most CDS deliverables for the coming years will be Cross-Platform so the Customer Data Manager will be required to work closely with owners in otherGroup Platforms and ensure alignment of requirements and expected deliverables.

Ensure all stakeholders are updated appropriately on a regular basis.


ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent customer data analysis skills including data manipulation skills using SQL queries
  • Strong business analysis skills, able to analyse and map complex business and systems processes and develop effective solutions to customer, business and technical challenges
  • Knowledge and understanding of data governance and data security principles
  • UAT experience required or other forms of testing
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, able to develop trusted working relationships across business boundaries
  • Strong understanding of relevant digital technologies and data management with the ability to follow technical conversations and challenge decisions if the requirements are not fulfilled
  • Good commercial awareness, able to deliver commercial outcomes whilst still delivering for customers
  • Background in Data Analysis, Data Management or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Preferred previous experience working with AWS, Snowflake.
  • Preferred experience working in a crossfunctional, crosscultural environment.
