We are currently recruiting for an SEO Manager for our impressive and ever-growing client based in Central London.


Purpose of role:


As the SEO Manager, you will lead the development and planning of a best-in-class, data-led customer acquisition and content marketing strategy which delivers revenue for the organisation.


Working with the Head of Growth and the wider internal marketing team, you will identify key optimisation opportunities for the company's website, ensuring that these are data led and can prove both the traffic and revenue impact of these projects.

You willbe confident working with content, development and design team to get these optimisations implemented, and also be able to effectively measure the impact of your work.

Key tasks

  • Working on the organisation's website to lead on the creation of actionable SEO roadmaps and plans
  • Use of SEO tools to undertake keyword research, competitor benchmarking, on page analysis, and customer journey analysis
  • Create data led strategy and insights to inform technical and on page content updates, as well as new opportunities
  • Work closely with the content team to plan content strategies based on your plans, ensuring these are implemented and results tracked
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce Analyst to optimise eCommerce performance across our channels
  • Aligning SEO plans with the CRO Manager to make sure all SEO recommendations aid conversions and the user journey
  • Work with Head of Channels and Innovations to ensure optimisation from a technical point of view
  • Ownership of the SEO report, reporting on the company's site as well as targeted keywords again our forecast and KPIs
  • Train, support and guide the wider teams to selfserve simple SEO requirements
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager.
  • Stay up to date with relevant SEO news and trends, making sure to share any key insights with the relevant teams
  • Tools used: SEMRush, Search metrics, Screaming Frog, GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Optimize
  • Explore and trial new channels for acquiring users
  • Line management of digital executive

You'll have/bring:

  • Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding and experience of successfully driving revenue for an eCommerce website
  • Advanced knowledge of both technical and content elements of SEO
  • Committed to continuous learning and evolving with industry best practice
  • Experience working in an agile marketing environment and as part of project teams
  • The website is available in many languages, so being able to provide recommendations on of our key market
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide a story from large scale data
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Able to build and manage a high performing team through building trust, cooperation and constructive dialogue
  • Able to use business challenges and opportunities to improve team, personal and organisational performance
