Housing Options Officer (Temporary Contract)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (Combination of remote and office-based work)

As a Housing Options Officer, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and families navigate their housing needs

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing accurate and uptodate information on available housing schemes, benefits, and support services.
Collaborating with local housing providers, landlords, and agencies to secure suitable housing options for clients.
Offering advice and guidance on tenancy agreements, rent arrears, and other related matters.
Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and housing allocations.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Experience in housing options, homelessness prevention, or a related field.
A thorough understanding of housing legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and empathize with diverse clients.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage a high caseload effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in relevant IT systems and software.
