  • We have an exciting opportunity to join SEROCU's Financial Investigations and Asset Recovery as a Financial Intelligence Officer.
The vacancy is a permanent position supporting the Asset Confiscation and Enforcement Team and the Financial Investigations Teams.


You will conduct in depth Financial and general research utilising a number of sources, producing intelligence profiles in support of SEROCU investigations, making recommendations and identifying tactical opportunities.

You will also conduct some data washing and basic analysis, and so should be competent in the use of databases and spreadsheets.

The role also involves supporting the Asset Confiscation Enforcement Team with research and administration enforcing Confiscation orders.

As such, the role holder will be required to occasionally attend Magistrates Court, and provide the court with updates on cases.


The role requires the role holder to be self-motivated, able to work with the minimum of supervision, and be well organised (dealing with and registering a high volume of cases/intelligence requests).


You should be able to demonstrate high levels of attention to detail, the ability to research and work as part of a team.


Unless already accredited as a Financial Intelligence Officer the post holder will be required to complete the relevant entrant's exam and training, and thereafter complete a CPD to attain full accreditation with the NCA Proceeds of Crime Centre (PoCC).
