Overview:

This role will focus on global travel while providing strategic direction and guidance for the global

Travel program.

This role will be responsible for enforcing global policies, creating and maintaining key internal and external partnerships, and working directly with stakeholders to ensure smooth travel.


Responsibilities:


  • Provides daytoday direction, and support to the Travel and Expense team including proactive guidance, troubleshooting support, and issue escalation.
  • Works directly with stakeholders to research and resolve issues
  • Maintains T&E policies and procedures and implement changes as necessary
  • Responsible for booking and resolving travel issues
  • Educates employees on the proper use of the T&E policy information and changes to procedures
  • Works flexibly with global travelers to ensure timely responses

Qualifications
Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience plus 3+ years of experience in global travel
coordination, vendor/partner management, and expense

  • Willing to work well with team members and global travelers
  • Drive global strategy and best practices while ensuring consistency across the region.
  • Be the key point of contact for travelers, executive assistants, and department leads for all matters pertaining to global travel, including managing emergency situations.
  • Knowledge with system tools, user interface, and TMC integrations including training and regional implementations.
  • Investigates and resolves business partner travel issues.
  • Track global supplier performance, employee experience, and safety initiatives while identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure the quality of internal and external customer experiences.
  • Manage and enhance global/regional preferred supplier relationships (air, hotel, rideshare, etc.).
  • Encourage the use of resourcing for T&E programs.
  • Interpret metrics and drive performance and efficiency opportunities.

Professional Skills

  • Expert working with multiple travel management platforms experience with CTM and Lightning a
plus

  • Expert working with Google WorkspaceDuties:
  • Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their travel
  • Research and recommend destinations, hotels, and attractions based on client preferences and budget
  • Collaborate with travel suppliers such as airlines, hotels, and car rental companies to secure the best rates and availability for clients
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and changes in travel regulations to provide accurate information to clients
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of client bookings
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of travel planning and booking processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficient in using travel booking systems and software
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay:
£50,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
