Classroom Support are excited to be working with a mainstream Primary School in the Surbiton area.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 Pupils in a mainstream Primary School.

Teaching/Learning Support Assistant experience is highly beneficial.

The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment of which is reflected in their Ofsted results.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £85 per day, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only for this Teaching Assistant position.

Requirements of the Teaching Assistant role are:

Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis and occasionally in small groups.
Using your experience of effective behaviour management.
Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.
Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting.
Holding a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial
Be willing to participate in lunchtime cover.
Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.

You Either need a DBS on the Update Service or a DBS ran via ourselves for us to be able to place you at a school.
