Job description

  • You will take the lead on a flight ensuring that checkin opens and closes on time, assuring the 'on time' setup of check in and gate areas, with all relevant equipment such as signage, boarding passes, forms, etc.
  • You will be responsible to thoroughly brief all staff under your responsibility according to the instruction received by our clients and support them when needed.
  • You will monitor all special assistance on arrival and departure and liaise with the Aircraft Dispatcher, making sure that clear flow of information is kept throughout operations, for the efficient running of the flight.
  • You will be the first point of contact for our clients for the flight assigned.
  • You will be responsible for the satisfactory production of postflight documentation and reports.
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need to:

  • Be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to assert authority, when necessary, whilst maintaining good relationship with all parties (Customer Airlines, Airport Authorities, Colleagues).
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the whole range of Passenger Service Agent duties including Checkin, Boarding, Safety and Security procedures, as well as Immigration procedures.
  • Be fluent in at least two Check in System used by our Customers, Sabre, Altea.
  • Proven high level knowledge of the English language, written and verbal.
  • Proven two years' experience in a similar role As the role involves supervising and giving guidance to colleagues, a Flight Controller must have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as initiative and resilience. You will report any irregularities directlyto the Front of House Supervisor and you will also liaise with internal Customers such as our handled airlines. Flight Controller must ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism is provided, always.
This role is being offered on a 37.5 hour week with a shift pattern of 4 on 2 off


Salary:
From £26,000.00 per year
