Leading, developing and motivating teams in order to achieve and exceed the KPI's
Monitoring and managing labour, equipment and materials to optimise Production output and achieve KPI's
Leading by example ensuring good practice, managing employees relating through ensuring adherence to Company procedures
Promoting a safety culture by ensuring employees are aware of their own responsibilities and others whilst in the workplace
Developing, motivating and engage teams through training/mentoring
Training and development, from identifying training needs, following procedures and adherence to the delivery of training.
Ensuring the shift is working in accordance with relevant quality, environmental, health and safety standards with adherence to all internal work instructions
Leading and driving continuous improvement activities i.e. Kaizen/Lean improvement teams
Experience of working in a Supervisory role within a fast paced manufacturing environment
Possessing an operations related or management degree would be desirable however not essential
Strong health, safety and environmental knowledge coupled with knowledge of production techniques/process
Ability to demonstrate the delivery of KPI's
A positive and self driven approach with the desire to make continuous improvements
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership/people management skills and previous experience of leading/assuming responsibility for a large team
Excellent communication skills
Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
