Step Teachers are seeking a qualified teacher to work as a Primary NTP Tutor in Norwich for part-time and full-time opportunities.


Being an NTP tutor is convenient for qualified teachers who are looking to get back into work after periods away from teaching and want part-time, flexible hours to fit current commitments.

Tutors who are free in the afternoons are in demand.


We currently have a school who are looking for NTP Tutor to work part-time in a Junior School in Norwich.


To be an NTP Tutor you will need to have one of the following:

  • Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • A degree in either Maths, English, Science, Humanities, or Modern Foreign Languages and strong tutoring experience.
  • Experience working in SEN setting is desirable but not essential
  • Have strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and experience in tutoring or teaching in a classroom
  • Be flexible with the hours they can work and willing to commit to longterm
  • Be Confident in behavioural management skills.
  • Be able to think on their feet and use different scaffolding strategies to teach the pupils
  • Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
