So what does the role look like?

  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism.
  • Managing & facilitating booking instructions from customers.
  • Creating jobs in our operating system for seamless execution.
  • Handle customs clearance for sea and road shipments efficiently.
  • Coordinating sea export shipments with relevant suppliers for optimal outcomes.
  • Perform loading & delivery checks, liaising with hauliers to ensure the collection is on schedule.
  • Conduct online filing and data entry with a keen eye for detail, using Microsoft Teams as a collaboration tool.
  • Utilise problemsolving skills to ensure problem resolution for customers, enhancing their experience.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Create sales invoices and process purchase invoices with accuracy.
  • Be open to working some weekends as per business needs.
  • Embrace the learning curve as training will be provided to ensure your success in the role.

So, do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in the shipping and logistics sector, with a solid understanding of export freight operations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
  • Demonstrable IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in completing all tasks.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
