Academy Trust is a highly successful and vibrant organisation that provides an exceptional quality of education across our family of schools within the West Midlands region.
Established in 2014, we are the largest primary and early years specialist MAT in the Worcestershire and wider region with good and outstanding primary, first and nursery settings, a thriving teaching alliance and an alternative provision setting (opening in September Teaching and learning are at the core of all our work, underpinned by an extensive programme of professional learning for our staff.
Due to the retirement of our founding CEO, Kate Brunt, the board of trustees is seeking to appoint an outstanding strategic leader who is able to articulate our vision, values and ethos and who will inspire and empower others, at a primary and secondary level, to share in achieving them.
As CEO, you will be responsible for the educational, organisational and financial performance of the trust, the delivery of future growth and other strategic developments.
You will be supported by a central team, alongside a dedicated trust board, as well as our headteachers, who are collaborative, ambitious and motivated.
- A system leader with excellent school improvement experience
- Experienced in leading more than one school and with a clear understanding of trust structures
- Credible with experienced and successful headteachers at both primary and secondary phases
- A great educator who is outward facing and able to quantify and implement a world class education
- An influencer and innovator who has proven that they can take others with them
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and evidence to show how you have been an inspirational, innovative and collaborative leader, who is passionate about improving the life chances of children.
