Support Worker

At Heritage Care Recruitment we are seeking a compassionate and reliable support worker to join our team.

As a support worker, you will provide essential support to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.


We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. These important roles will support adults with learning disability to thrive.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills
  • Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and social activities
  • Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
  • Document and report any changes in individual's behavior or health status
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to create and implement individualized support plans
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for individuals at all times

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient demeaner
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

REQUIREMENTS:

DBS on the update service

2 work reference and 1 character reference

Covid 19 vaccination proof

Driving licence (preferred)


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.75-£11.00 per hour


Day range:

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)
