Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a large Secondary Academy in Nottingham to recruit for a Learning Support Assistants.

We are recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work with individuals and groups across KS3 and KS4.

You will be supporting in interventions and providing support in differentiated learning designed to cater to the learning needs of the pupil.

You will be working cohesively with the school SENCo, and Subject Teachers.

If you are passionate about inclusion and ensuring all children receive access to cohesive Teaching & Learning through support both academically and from a pastoral aspect to support students in their independence in each of their individual learning journeys.

The job

The school is looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and providing additional support, to provide the very best opportunity for allocated students.
Have experience working with children of a Secondary age in a Learning Support environment.
Have the confidence and ability to challenge negative behaviours and refocus learning engagement.
Have an understanding of SEND and provide a calm and nurturing learning environment.
