_ Job purpose:

The Senior Agile Facilitator in CMC Scientific Digital & Tech is accountable for enabling cross-functional Product teams in the successful Product delivery.


_ Overview:
_


The Senior Agile Facilitator will support Product Owners, other Scrum Masters (Agile Facilitators) and Development Teams by coaching in agile ways of working, building shared understanding of agile mindset, helping to identify obstacles in the process, measuring the successful performance and assisting in value tracking.


_ Key responsibilities:
_

Enabling functional product teams:

  • Act as a servant leader with oversight of all activities across several product teams.
  • Build a close relationship with Agile Facilitators, Product Owners, and Business Owners to understand the challenges and ensuring high efficiency by removing impediments or assisting the team in doing so.
  • Establish a trusting and safe team environment with a focus on problem solving. Foster a "learn by doing" team culture and drive relentless improvement.

Coaching and mentoring:


  • Serve as Team coach to support the agile ways of working by providing tailored guidance and direction on various levels of organization (Product Directors, Business Owners, Product Owners, Agile Facilitators and Development Teams)
  • Participate in and help to develop communities of practice with other Agile Facilitators in CMC and other Scientific Digital & Tech units

Strategy Alignment:


  • Take active part in Scrum of Scrums meetings across CMC to work on backlog of impediments
  • Understand full CMC Portfolio structure and strategic direction as it relates to team goals and ensure strategy and delivery alignment at the product/team level.
  • Liaise with Strategy, Design and Test organization as well as other partner organizations (ex: Quality, Established Products, Portfolio, Finance) to adopt and embed standards and best practices across the product teams

_ Why you?_

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Good experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer
  • Indepth knowledge of Agile process and principles with handson experience in Scrum and Kanban
  • Working experience in an IT product related industry, with experience in IT software analysis, design or delivery.
  • Excellent relationship management, strong influencing, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer Science or related bachelor's degree (Technical Degree eg Engineering, Information Technology)
  • SCRUM or SAFe certifications are a plus, but not required
