Are you an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge?

Our Local Policing Directorate are looking to recruit a Support Administrator on a permanent basis.

You'll be providing an effective administrative support using a number of software packages and maintaining information records.


Using your excellent communication skills, you will provide a high-quality service to customers, dealing with enquiries and requests for information, providing appropriate advice to both internal departments and colleagues and external agencies.


You will also use your experience of computerised systems, supporting in the creation of reports and schedules, the design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases and be the minute taker in meetings, transcribing them for approval and distribution.

Our police staff work side by side with police officers and make a real difference to people's lives.

Please note, due to the nature of the role, you must be able and willing to travel within the Neighbourhood Policing Areas/Directorate to carry out activities associated with the role, alongside manual handling activities such as lifting and moving boxes of filing and stationery provisions (reasonable adjustments considered under the Equality Act 2010.)


For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
