Leader tasked with delivering results that make a significant contribution to a department or project delivery.
Responsible for delivering operational plans and setting day-to-day team objectives or acts independently to deliver the business policies and programmes within a defined specialist area.
Resolves day-to-day issues/escalation points.Key responsibilities
Operations Team Leader with significant impact on the success of the operations.
- Ensures a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment, and safety mindset.
- Ensure quality and food safety within in own area of responsibility, and quality and food safety mindset
- Leads and manages LCO Team (Core Team and Line Teams) to jointly improve line performance (using LEAN tools, APS, SPC, OEE), and is accountable for Continuous Improvements in LCO area
- Responsible for KPI development including safety, quality, delivery, productivity & sustainability
- Responsible for competency development in LCO Team, including enable and coach LCO Team members on the basis of Our Leadership and Our Character.
- Responsible for optimization and resource planning on cooperation with internal stakeholders, follow up and reporting
- Ensures an efficient and stable operations process anchored in KPI fulfilment based on team performance.
- Implements and execute the local business plan within area of responsibility.
- Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods' standards and policies as well as the applicable law
- Cooperates and coordinates with e.g. Maintenance & Engineering to proactively optimise performance of Operations
- Financial understanding and work within the framework set by corporate finance within own area of responsibility
- Administrates practical necessities such as safety equipment, scheduling, recruitment and salaries.
- Leads the work of having a diverse, flexible workforce to secure optimal shift planning and coverage of absence.
- Administrates health & safety talks and rehab processes.
Educational background/Experience
- Dairy Technician, Dairy Technologist or similar
- Minimum 2 years of production experience.
- English according to Arla level requirements
