Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Prepper to join our team. As a Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by using various tools and techniques.

This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to operate power tools, and proficiency with hand tools.

Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
• Remove old paint or coatings using power tools and hand scrapers
• Fill cracks, holes, and imperfections with putty or other appropriate materials
• Assist with mixing paint colors and preparing paint equipment
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficiency with power tools such as sanders, grinders, and paint sprayers
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with hand tools including scrapers, putty knives, and brushes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
• Attention to detail to ensure surfaces are properly prepped for painting
• Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
