Job Purpose:
Manage the smooth running of school operations and boarding operations with particular emphasis on health and safety, resource management, office management and campus facilities.
Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES:
Responsibilities:
Student Administration
Under the supervision of the Head of School:
- Collect daily form registers, list absentees and liaise and coordinate with the resident House mother
- Update daily electronic registers
- Record authorised student absences
- Prepare and print weekly Form Registers and Registers files for the following week
- Prepare weekly Attendance Tracking Spreadsheet and send to Senior Managers and file in Boarding Registers
- Ensure all agency contract are signed, uptodate and appropriately filed
- Assist in the collation of all documentation required for student admissions and enrolment
Office Administration
- General administration support duties
- Manage office functions such as: reception, visitors, students, deliveries
- Bookings (catering, rooms, sports facilities, transport) and trips arrangements
- Oversee student fruit orders
- Monitor students' arrivals and departures and support the boarding team with taxi bookings
- Support the students with their enquiries and medical appointments
- Assist with Student Graduation arrangements and other school events
- Office file management
- Write minutes to meetings as required
- Assist the Operations Manager with the collation of all documentation relating to Health and Safety matters
- Monitor accommodation and student's rooms for tidiness and cleanliness and identify maintenance and health and safety issues to be reported to the landlord
- Coordinate room checks with the Housemother and other members of boarding staff
Miscellaneous
- Support the Executive Director in additional projects which enhance the academic profile of ISCA
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of the position
