Nu-Staff are working with Safran Seats based in Cwmbran with the recruitment of Trainee Trimmers.

These are ongoing temporary assignments within a world leading environment and requires previous experience within a technical and sub-assembly environment.

Previous experience in a hands on role / using hand tools is required.

Duties will include:

To assemble and install seat and cabin subassemblies and machined items to design data in compliance with production operating standards and engineering drawings.
To support the achievement of operational targets and KPI's.
To support production within a mechanical and electrical field requiring skilled intervention, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance.
You will be required to support and promote best working practices across all production areas and seek to suggest and support improvement activities.
Assemble and install, wire harnesses and electrical systems and equipment to design data within required cycle time and DPU/PPM targets.
Complete travelers/production orders and other regulatory paperwork.
Take responsibility of own safety and the safety of colleagues by complying with Health and Safety standards and requirements.
Comply with 5s Standards

Hours & Pay
- £14.09ph (days and afternoons Rotation)

First couple of weeks will be paid at £11.74ph due to training on days regular.

Saturday overtime is paid at x1.5 Sunday overtime is paid at x2.

You will follow a full training Schedule for approximately 2 to 3 weeks in a 1st class training environment.

The Recruitment Process

A Strong CV is required.
You will be invited to attend a recruitment day on site to showcase your assembly skills and meet the hiring managers for an informal conversation.
This will include a Mechanical test, proving you can follow diagrams and set instruction.
