As an office assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes.


Responsibilities:


Customer Service:
Assist with customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely information about our products and services. Handle customer orders and maintain customer databases. Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to address customer needs effectively.

Sales Support:

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, such as preparing sales presentations, maintaining sales records, and updating the systems.

Help coordinate sales meetings, and customer visits, ensuring smooth logistics and effective follow-up.

Purchasing and Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the procurement team to place purchase orders, track shipments, and maintain inventory records. Assist in vendor selection, price negotiation, and order fulfilment processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Documentation and Reporting:
Support the preparation and distribution of various documents, including reports, memos, and presentations.

Office Operations:
Assist in organising and coordinating office events, meetings, and training sessions. Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a clean and productive work environment. Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting for staff members as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets and knowledge of Sage 50 would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers,suppliers.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:
£10.50-£14.00 per hour
