The Role


We are interested in speaking with individuals experienced in commercial fleet management, to join our fast-paced Commercial division in the role of Fleet Controller, you will have responsibility for advising key stakeholders in relation to vehicle repairs.

As a key point of contact to customers you will proactively manage day-to-day cost-effective vehicle repair decisions.

This a part-time opportunity working 25 hours a week, we are open to 3 days a week, or 5 days with compressed hours allowing flexibility to suit your commitments outside of work.


Responsibilities

  • To provide effective customer service and build relationships with both internal and external customers
  • To work within a fleet desk team and to liaise effectively with all other departments across the Division
  • Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer
  • Prioritise work effectively ensuring all systems and updates are recorded accurately
  • Ensure all information is correctly entered into the internal software systems accurately, sufficient, and suitable
  • Monitor and organise all contracts
  • Liaise with Contract Relationship Manager & Customer Service Manager regarding any issues that may arise
  • Deal with daytoday queries & escalations from customers
  • Ensure records are kept on file for all repairs and service / inspections
  • Key point of contact for customers, regularly providing updates on repair progress and due service inspections and other required works.
  • Report all defects to the customers, preparing estimates / quotations and obtain covering order numbers
  • To provide further assistance to other team members when requested
