Junior Linux Engineer:

Rapidly growing start-up based in the heart of Reading seek an junior Linux Engineer** to manage their server/network infrastructure. This is a really exciting opportunity for a enthustiastic engineer with at least 6mths commercial experience who wants a chance to grow quickly and pick up a breadth of skills andmore responsibility quickly as you grow with the company. You should have a good base knowledge in networking, some Linux knowledge and a desire to learn.

You will be responsible for managing their server/network infrastructure and your responsibilities will include:

Managing hardware
Managing firewalls
Managing VPNs
Responsible for backup/disaster recovery processes

The company has solid funding and a high growth trajectory. There will be the opportunity for office based and remote working (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)

The Junior Linux Engineer
must have the following experience:

Linux experience/knowledge
could be from building a set up at home
Networking

Salaryfor the Junior Linux Engineer will be £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus pension, Health, Socials, flexible working etc....
