We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.

Do you feel confident that you would be able to provide an overall Supervisory aspect within our Customer Services (Broomfield Site), this will include cashiering services and supervising our main Trust switchboard.


The post holder will be required to provide accurate, reliable and timely reporting for cash and electronic transactions, ensuring they assist and provide an effective and user friendly cashiering service which meets the requirements of the service users, staff and management within a controlled financial framework and a safe environment.

You will need to operate electronic systems to ensure that all transactions are logged and reconciled, whilst an audit trail of transactions exist for all receipts and payments.

Previous cashiers experience would be preferred or experience of accurately recording and reconciling transactions, payments and receipts.

Reporting to the MSE Head of Customer Services the post holder will ensure the responsive and professional standards of the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

This post will create and maintain strong working relationships with all Switchboard staff and could communicate with Assistant Directors, Executive Directors including Clinical Directors, General Managers, Heads of Nursing and all other staff within the organisation.


You will ensure that the switchboard is maintained, fully staffed and the emergency bleep system is operating at all times.
