Overview of the Role


This role is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of comprehensive marketing support, collateral and plans to help drive growth across our public market capabilities in Nuveen's Private Wealth and Institutional businesses across EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Primary responsibilities include developing marketing strategy, regional messaging, collateral and implementation plans that position the platform and its offerings to help both grow and retain assets.

For both internal and external audiences, execution will include product launches, product actions and platform placement support, managing updates of existing marketing collateral, campaigns, digital/web & social media content, and sales enablement tools.


Our Marketing organization is matrixed and requires this individual to demonstrate the ability to successfully work cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders and discipline experts to drive key marketing initiatives.

This individual will work with the entire marketing organization as well as product management, client portfolio management, investment teams, distribution, performance analytics/reporting, and legal/compliance to ensure timely execution of projects that align with firm-wide priorities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing comprehensive product marketing plans in collaboration with marketing verticals (client marketing, thought leadership, brand and design, PR, product marketing, digital, demand generation) including tactical and strategic content in support of Nuveen's UCITS funds, and institutional strategies, deployed through various mediums
  • Understand Nuveen's brand strategy, competitive assets, and market position to develop and lead strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy supporting our public funds platform
  • Collaborate with internal partners to seek new ways to position products in alignment with client segment goals and journeys
  • Communicate marketing initiatives with internal partners and support compilation and dissemination of regular marketing initiatives and metrics reporting. Regularly solicit feedback and information for improvement
  • Manage and execute periodic updates of marketing collateral and web content including brochures, presentations, allocation updates, web pages and digital content, and other salesenablement tools. Ensure proper alignment of resources against platform and underlying funds, striving for automation when possible
  • Work with compliance departments to ensure materials meet regional regulatory guidelines, supporting compliance processes from initial submission to final approval
  • Take initiative to explore new approaches to increase efficiency and improve processes without sacrificing creativity or quality
  • Proofread all marketing content throughout the development and approval process to ensure it is accurate and compliant with regulations and Nuveen standards

Preferred Skills:

  • Cross border and multilingual experience/skills
  • Experience driving panenterprise and global client marketing campaigns
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Responsible Investing landscape and regulations

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • 4+ years marketing experience Degree educated or equivalent work experience Qualification in Marketing preferred Experience working within financial services, including coverage of UCITS funds across asset classes Working knowledge of investment industry concepts and regulatory requirements Understanding of distribution processes across
