An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Support Administrator to join the Estates & Facilities Directorate at the University of Wolverhampton.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Support Administrator to join the Estates & Facilities Directorate at the University of Wolverhampton.

You will work within the Business Support section but be responsible for the administration and support across the Directorate.


Service Support Assistant responsibilities

  • You will assist with the administration and upkeep of the online maintenance reporting system.
  • Produce Reports from the online maintenance reporting system and disseminate information to the relevant service providers.
  • Produce regular newsletters, communications, marketing and promotional posters for the directorate.
  • Provide an overall administration support across the directorate.
  • Assist with the updating and monitoring of the Estates & Facilities web pages.
  • Manage when requested financial purchase orders and monitor spends against budget.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with other members of staff.
  • Excellent IT skills to be able to use all Microsoft packages and other IT packages.
  • Be able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Be able to work flexibly across all campuses and be able to work occasional evenings/weekends.


The minimum annual leave entitlement starts at 26 days and will increase to 30 from 1st August plus bank holidays / concessionary days.

In addition to bank holidays, extra concessionary days are also provided each year (a minimum of four) for the extended University closure around some UK public holidays.
